Gentler tips for your first game

- Before your first game, one short "This game's rules" card lists the house rules that are on
- At most one tip per turn, and never over the "Your turn!" moment
- Gentle background tips wait for a calm moment, like a computer player's turn
- Tips about what just happened to your peg (a dimmed peg, an eruption, the black hole, a Shield Charm save) still show straight away
- Your first game moves along faster: tips now take up much less of it.
- Menu → Tips still turns them on or off, and How to play → 💡 Tips replays any of them.

Daily Challenge

- You get 3 tries a day and your best score counts
- Climb the Today and This week leaderboards when you're signed in
- Every point is shown: your place, pegs home, knockbacks, your Secret Mission and a quick-win bonus
- A new challenge starts every midnight, UK time. A try counts as soon as it starts, so play it through.
- The dice are as random as ever. Only the setup is shared, so it's your moves that make the difference.
- The week board adds up your best score each day from Monday to Sunday.
- Not signed in? You can still play the challenge for practice.
- You get a small XP bonus the first time you finish each day's challenge.

- The first time a Power-Up, arena hazard, the Bully, a combo or a twist turns up, a friendly NEW! card explains it in plain words
- Each tip shows once, waits its turn and stays up long enough to read. Tap to close it
- Missed one? How to play → 💡 Tips lists them all, and you can replay any of them
- Menu → Tips turns them on or off, and Reset tips shows them all again
- Tips cover all 32 Power-Ups, every arena (lava, ice, portals, the black hole), the Bully, bounties, On Fire, the Final Showdown, Double Knock and Flawless wins, Revenge targets, Mystery rounds, Secret Missions, Knock Coins, the Knock Shop and each shop perk, crowd reactions, dimmed pegs, the turn timer and house rules like auto-roll and the Stuck rule.
- Signed in? The tips you've seen are remembered on your account, so you won't see them again on another phone.
- Tips never change the dice or the moves. While your own turn clock is running they're kept short, and you can tap them away.

Knock Coins & the Knock Shop

- Signed-in players earn coins for every game played to the end, with more for a win, knockbacks and pegs home
- The Knock Shop: peg skins, dice, board themes, move trails, victory celebrations and emote packs, each with a live preview
- A 50-coin welcome gift, plus a daily bonus that grows the more days in a row you play
- Three small, fair perks (Loadout Pass, Rematch Revenge, Shield Charm), always shown to everyone at the table
- Coins: +10 for finishing a game, +15 for a win, +2 per knockback (up to 5) and +1 per peg home (up to 4). Games against the computer earn half, and you can earn up to 150 coins a day.
- The dice stay completely random. Nothing in the shop changes your rolls.
- Perks are picked in the lobby and appear on your name chip for everyone to see. The host can switch them off in House rules, and Classic rules leave them out.
- 🧿 Shield Charm: the first time a rival knocks one of your pegs back in a game, it goes to your start hole instead of home (if that hole is free).
- Your locker on your profile shows everything you own. Put on or take off any look at any time.
- Board themes show on the Classic board; arenas keep their own look. Your victory celebration plays for everyone when you win.
- The chat sheet now has a row of emotes, including any packs you own.

Secret Missions

🎮 Gameplay
- A Top Secret card gives you a private mission at the start, like "Knock back Blue twice" or "Make 5 knockbacks"
- A slim bar under the board tracks your progress, and a gold card pops up when you've done it
- At the end, everyone's missions are revealed with a ✅ or ❌
- +15 XP for a completed mission when you're signed in. It's a bonus, and you can still win without it
- Missions never change the dice, the moves or anyone's turn. They only watch what happens.
- Playing pass & play on one phone? Your card arrives sealed. Pass the phone, then tap to peek.
- Some missions only show up when their twist is on, like kicking the Bully or taking portals in the Haunted arena.
- Turn them off in House rules → Twists → 🤫 Secret Missions. They're off in Classic.

- The version number now sits at the bottom of the home screen. Tap it for this page
- A little dot shows up after an update until you've had a look
- Every update since day one is here. Filter by Gameplay, Looks, Social or Fixes, and tap any update for the full story
- This page has its own link, so you can share it with friends.
- The first time you open the game after an update, a quick note tells you what version you're on.
- With your phone's "reduce motion" setting on, everything appears in place without animations.

Revenge targets & Mystery rounds

- Whoever knocks your peg back becomes your Revenge target. Knock them back for a REVENGE! moment and +5 XP
- Mystery rounds: now and then a round gets one surprise rule for everyone
- ✖️2 Double moves on 6, 🛡️ safe zones, 🔄 reverse round, 1️⃣ ones get you out, 💥 knockback bonus
- Revenge targets show as a 🎯 on the player's name (it says YOU when it's aimed at you) and a small red target over their pegs.
- Revenge never changes a move, so the game stays fair. Up to 3 revenges a game earn XP.
- Mystery rounds come about once every 7 rounds, never the same rule twice in a row. A ❓ badge above the board reminds you of the rule; tap it to re-read.
- The dice are never touched. Both twists can be switched off in House rules → Twists, and Classic has them off.

Crowd reactions

- Tap the clap button to send 👏 😱 😂 🔥 🎉 or a friendly 👎
- Watching a game? You can join in too
- Never holds up play, and you can turn reactions off in the Menu
- Reactions float across everyone's board with your name.
- The button is greyed out on your own turn, so you can focus on your move.
- There's a gentle limit so nobody can spam the board. Muted and blocked players' reactions are hidden.
- The host can switch reactions off for the whole game in House rules → Social.

Arenas & Twists

- The Bully: a grumpy neutral peg that stomps around the board
- Bounties on the leader and 🔥 On Fire streaks
- Final Showdown when someone's down to their last peg
- Volcano vents erupt every 3 rounds. Ice makes pegs slide an extra hole. Haunted portals warp you across the board. A black hole drifts around Space.
- Each arena has its own look, animations and ambient sound (you can turn ambient sound off in the Menu).
- Knock back the leader to claim their bounty for an extra roll. Two knockbacks in a row set you On Fire.
- Every twist is a house rule, and Classic turns them all off. The dice are always fair.
- Bots understand the twists too. New XP and podium awards for bounties and streaks.
